I all my honesty, I hoped that the question of shameful decision on bombing Serbia will not be mentioned here. How it was possible bombing a European country in 2000 in the hearth of the Europe, democratic and rightful Europe- still I do not know. But I can tell you how it was for us living there and thinking that today may be the last day of our lives. I can speak to you about it, but I cannot describe the terror I still have when I only hear the sound of a siren or when I see the airplane flying low.
You have the right to like my opinion or not. It is your choice. You can criticize me but You could not deny the facts mentioned.
Talking about Kosovo, present tense, I could give you some scaring facts that even you don’t know or maybe you do... but there are not the facts and figures to be proud of. I could say that in “democratic” Kosovo right now, the deputy seats and votes are traded with. A vote of a Serbian deputy in Kosovo parliament was tried to be bought for 10.000 euro. In addition, some Albanian Ethnic citizen of Serbia, residents in Kosovo, try to bride our very few deputies offering them money and security for their families if they in return do note vote.
This false sense of liberty and democracy cannot bring good to anyone in Kosovo. Wouldn’t be much better if we all negotiate and try to find a possible way of living together, living in peace? Would not be better if our children play together instead of pointing guns?
Serbia is country with great number of minorities and every one of them has wide range of possibilities to speak their language, nourish their own culture and tradition. Everybody is welcome in Serbia! Just look how prospective and how developed is our beautiful Vojvodina. How ethnic it is and how people live there. We are proud of our jewel and we cherish it.
Kosovo is a land of our grand fathers. It is our sanctuary, our heart!
