Letter to the poet

poet I would tell you that you have a duty to speak
of what's happening in your country without
put my head in the sand your hourglass

poet I would tell you that you have to denounce abuses and corruption

and not hide behind the finger of the lyric poet

I would say that poetry is born
with speech and talked back and stings like the tail of the scorpion


poet I would tell you which is run out of time
intentions and attitudes and that millions
waiting for a sign language from your sword
